Just like its predecessor, the upcoming GT Future is rumored to have a glow-in-the-dark rubber outsole, adding a fun, otherworldly touch.
And this is the part most people miss: Nike's Galaxy colorway has a rich history beyond the Air Foamposite One. It extended to signature sneakers of NBA legends like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant.
A Legacy of Legends
The Air Foamposite One has left an indelible mark, but the Galaxy theme has touched other iconic sneakers too. For instance, Nike reissued the Galaxy Air Foamposite One for All-Star Weekend in 2025, and in 2018, they released the 'Big Bang' version, also known as the 'Nebula' or 'Alternate Galaxy'.
