Romero's impressive career began with the Phoenix Suns and Mercury organizations, where she made history as the first woman to serve as Equipment Manager in the NBA. Her journey with the Suns included various roles, such as Team Travel & Logistics Manager and Equipment Operations Assistant & Travel Coordinator, showcasing her versatility and dedication to the sport.
In her new position with the Valkyries, Romero will focus on internal management, overseeing all administrative aspects of basketball operations. She will also act as a vital link between basketball operations, business operations, and the broader Golden State organization, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
