A major fire broke out at Kensington Roof Gardens, one of London's most exclusive private members' clubs, in the early hours of the morning. The blaze, which started at 12:57 am, caused the evacuation of the £250-a-month members-only club and raged for over two and a half hours. Eighty firefighters, aided by twelve fire engines, battled the flames, which were brought under control by 3:36 am. The incident sparked dramatic images shared by the London Fire Brigade (LFB) on social media, showing orange flames and thick black smoke pouring from the rooftop. The fire, which affected the ninth floor of the Derry Street office block, required specialist equipment, including a 32-meter turntable ladder, to tackle it effectively. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
